Okay, I am a fan of key lime pie and when I wanted to make pie last week, key lime pie came to mind. After a quick Google search, I found a recipe that has just a 4 ingredients and is the best tasting key lime pie ever. Plus it only takes 10 minutes in the oven to bake! No wonder it has thousands of 5 star ratings and rave reviews. I juiced the limes by hand which took 10 minutes to get 3/4 cup of juice. I added that to 2 cans of condensed milk instead of the 3 called for in the recipe, as many reviewers suggested this. Then I added the 1/2 cup sour cream, mixed it all together and put it in a graham cracker crust (I made mine from “scratch” but you don’t have to – it’s simply 1/2 stick salted butter with a half box of graham crackers in the trusty Kitchen Aid food processor…press into a pie dish, and bake at 425 for 10 minutes…done!). After 10 minutes in the oven, and 30 minutes to cool in the fridge, this pie was good to start eating up! And it was delicious. All of it. So easy. Less than $5 per pie, less than 20 minutes to make. Awesome.
